Hamdy and Beltone Partner are the winners of the
first ESM/McDonald's Grand Prix
After a spectacular performance in a two round
135/140 class, Karim Hamdy and Beltone Partner
were crowned the winners of the first ESM/McDonald's
Grand Prix. Karim finished two clean rounds with 3
seconds faster than the runners up Yehia Fahmy and
Easy Jet, followed by Mohamed El Boraei in third
place and Ahmed Ragab Fourth.
The first round of the ESM/Mcdonald's grand prix
started almost at 16hr00 yesterday with 60 horses
to jump the technical round designed by Mr. Ashraf
Abdallah. Only 12 horses jumped clear, to be
qualified to the second round along with the four
faulters.
The 23 horse second round was challenging enough
for riders and for spectators as well. Karim
Habashi and Inchallah were the first clear round
at round 2, finishing a total of four faults
carried from his first round. Just three riders
after when Yehia Fahmy jumped the first double
clear to top the leader board. |
