Karim El Zoghby "esmtoday Rider of the Year" 2011

The Egyptian Equestrian Olympian Karim El Zoghby is named "esmtoday Rider of the Year" for 2011. The title will be celebrated through a special award presentation which will be held in the next ESM showjumping event.

The "Rider of the Year" title is given by esmtoday was determined by a vote posted on esmtoday website through out the first week of January 2012. Find below the results of the voting posted earlier.

The year 2011 has contained numerous highlights for Karim, including leading the Egyptian showjumping Team winning the Team Silver at the Arab Games in Doha 2011 and winning the CSI4*-W Doha (Arab League World Cup Qualifier)

“2011, I felt it was successful enough for me due to the young horses I was bringing up this year” said Karim El Zoghby. “I hope 2012 is more successful, since every athlete dream is to be successful at the Olympic games, wishing all Egyptian riders to carry on the good work and 2014 we celebrate team of the year representing Egypt with as a team at the next World Championships and thank you ESM for promoting the sport and the Egyptian Riders worldwide”

ESM congratulates Karim for his "Rider of the Year" title, and for his great performance through out 2011, wishing him all the best for the upcoming years raising the Egyptian Flag all around the world as he always did.
