Leaving you last time with team WKD enjoying their
time with the distinctive moroccan traditions in the
resort city of El Jadida, Morocco and the grueling
challenge at the World cup qualifier, they were left
with 4 faults both with Suma's Zorro & Pepperpot.
Watching the Lyon CSI5*-W yesterday was
a real treat as usual. The course was both technical and
fragile but that was never usual for such a world cup.
The real treat was the horses !!
Far out in Denmark, Nayel Nassar went to keep up
his form and get mileage on his very experienced
Stallion Vangelis. The trip to cold cold Denmark
was taken with his trainer Jorg Naeve.
Nina Fagerström took the world by storm placing in
major Grand Prix like Rome, Lummen and winning the
grand prix of La Bagiana in Italy. She made the
biggest on the world riders ranking, from 187 to 46.
''Now we welcome an Egyptian rider in his first
visit to Germany, also his first visit in Europe
ever and here he is on raging bull Vangelis…
applause pls!!'' Says the commentator while
introducing Nayel Nassar while he entered the 2011
Kiel CSI3* Grand Prix.
This show goes under the category one
of the greatest showjumping shows. I have been a an
annual visitor since 2007 but never dreamed of
riding there because the entry fee is as expensive
as one's liver !!
